Importing teams is helpful if members are not yet in the directory, if you have already created teams in a spreadsheet, or if you are using a third-party system. Once the import is complete, imported members receive invitations to join your organization.

Download and fill out this template before continuing. Template fields include:

NOTE: An asterisk (*) indicates a required field.

  • *Team Name

  • *Team Role (Player/Staff)

  • *First Name

  • Middle Name

  • *Last Name

  • Suffix

  • *Email ([email protected])
    โ€‹NOTE: Please use the correct email address for the staff member or the player's parent/guardian.

  • *Date of Birth (YYYY/MM/DD format)

  • *Gender (Male, Female, Non-Binary or abbreviations - i.e. M, Male, B, Boy)

  • Address

  • City

  • State

  • Postal Code

  • Country

  • Citizenship

  • Grade

  • Military Status

  • Jersey Number

To start the import:

  1. Navigate to "SportsEngine HQ".

  2. In the left-hand navigation, click Competition > Season Management.

  3. Within the desired season, click Teams.

  4. Click Add Teams > Import Teams.

    • If you have not yet downloaded and completed the template, click Download the Template, enter the team name and gender, and save the file.

  5. Click Add File, then select the saved .csv template file from your device.

  6. Click the green Next button to upload.

  7. Match the CSV file headers with the category to import the information.

  8. Click Next.

  9. Resolve any errors and click Next.

  10. Resolve any duplicates and click Next.

  11. Click Import.

Once the import is complete, navigate to the Teams page to assign teams to divisions.
