You will need "Full Access" or "Limited Access - Website" permissions to create your own PDF templates.

NOTE: This article is Step 2 of creating your own PDF Templates. If you haven't created your Template yet, please check out Step 1 first.

  1. Sign in and click on the HQ Home icon at the top of your screen.

  2. Once in "SportsEngine HQ," click Website, then choose the Website Tools tab.

  3. Choose Templates, then choose the sub-tab option of PDF Templates.

  4. At the center of the screen, click Create New Template.

  5. Select the Choose File button to select the PDF you intend to use.

  6. Enter a name for the PDF Template.

  7. Enter a brief description of the use or purpose of this PDF Template.

  8. Select the Enabled checkbox.

    • NOTE: You must enable a template before you can use it.

  9. Select a type of either Roster or Survey.

If you’ve selected Roster, perform the following:

  1. Select where you’d like the template to be available. Choices include Admin Player, Admin Coach, User Profile, and Roster Player.

  2. Review the available Template Variables.

    • NOTE: the field names on your PDF must match the Template Variable names exactly or those fields will not populate. Case sensitivity applies.

  3. Click the Save Template button.

  4. Your new template will now show up in the list on the Templates tab; clicking Edit will generate a preview of it.

    • NOTE: Once more the template will not be usable until the Enabled checkbox is selected.

If you’ve selected Survey, perform the following:

  1. Select where you’d like the template to be available. Currently, the only choice available is Player Registration.

  2. Review the available Template Variables.

    • NOTE: The field names on your PDF must match the Template Variable names exactly, or those fields will not populate. Case sensitivity applies.

  3. Click the Save Template button.

  4. Your new template will now appear in the Templates tab list; clicking Edit will generate a preview of it.

    • NOTE: Once more, the template will not be usable until the Enabled checkbox is selected.
