What Happens If My Payment Processing Application Was Not Approved? [US Customers]

If your Payment Processing Application gets rejected, the Financial Contact will receive an email notifying them of the rejection.

  1. Within that email, click Update Application.

    • You will be brought to your Financial Settings page. It will outline what needs to be adjusted.

  2. Click Update Application again.

  3. Update the fields that need updating, then click Next/Submit for approval.

    • Full names must be entered exactly as displayed on your SS-4 form, including upper/lower case letters, symbols, and punctuation placement.

    • The Tax Identification Number [TIN] must exactly match your official IRS-issued documentation (typically an SS-4, sometimes Letter 147C)

Example 1:

If your entity name looks like this on your SS-4 letter, you might need to enter the following as your legal entity name:

ACME LLC THERESA LOPEZ-FITZGERALD SOLE MBR

Example 2:

If your entity name looks like this on your SS-4 letter, you might only need to enter the following as your legal entity name:

ACME INC
