organization EIN/Tax ID numbers can take time to reach the IRS database.

Most often, denial is due to improper entry of your organization's name/tax ID. The name/tax ID must be entered exactly as it appears on the SS-4 notice. Using other acronyms, abbreviations, or mismatched information will result in delayed approval.

In the meantime, please send a PDF copy of your organization's SS-4 (application for EIN) to your SportsEngine Account Manager for manual review and confirmation.
