How to Access Tool Settings

You must have "Full Access" or "Limited Access - Website" permissions to access tool settings.

NOTE: The steps below are for Sport Management organizations. If using Season Management, create a General Page and Share the Team Site.

After you create a League or Club page, the settings for that season can be adjusted based on the organization's specific needs.

  1. Sign in and enable Edit Mode.

  2. Go to your League Page or Club Page.

  3. Click on the yellow Admin dropdown arrow in the middle of the page.

  4. Choose Tool Settings.

Game Schedule Tool Settings

The Game Schedule will allow you to choose which information displays and which features to have on a Game Schedule.

Options include:

  • Email Results

  • Game Defaults

  • Display Record

  • Ticket

  • Broadcast Information

Game Schedule Status

You can update the status of the schedule. Schedule statuses include:

  • Inherit - Depending on the status of your page , the schedule will appear on the Team page. If the page is private, the schedule will not appear.

  • Disabled - Game Schedule will NOT show on the Team Page.

  1. Under Status, choose either Inherit, Disabled, or Private.

  2. In the top-left corner, click Save Changes.

Roster Tool Settings

The Roster setting will allow your organization to select what pieces of information are displayed on the Roster Tab of a Team Page for players and coaches.

Add Roster Information

If you need to add new information to display on the team roster page, you will first need to create a Roster Variable. After creating the variable, you can add it under the Player or Coach Listing Page Columns.

  1. Click Add underneath the last listing.

  2. Choose the new variable you have created.

  3. In the top-left corner, click Save Changes.

Roster Status

You can update the status of the roster. Roster status includes:

  • Inherit - Depending on the status of your page, the roster will appear on the Team page. If the page is private, the roster will not appear.

  • Disabled - Roster will NOT show on the Team Page.

  • Private - Roster will only show to those that are rostered or who have permission to access that Team Page.

  1. Under Status, choose either Inherit, Disabled, or Private.

  2. In the top-left corner, click Save Changes.

Statistics Tool Settings

The Statistics setting allows you to select which level of stats will be displayed, how to score games, who can finalize games, and which stats will display per sport.

Changing this setting to League Only, Division Only, or League and Division will place League stats on those pages of your site.

SportsEngine Scoring Setting

Checking these boxes allows your League "Admins" to score games in a certain way.

Individual Player Stats

Check the boxes next to each individual stat that you would like to keep track of.

Helpful Tip! Remember to click Save Changes in the top-left corner if any updates are made.

Standings Tool Settings

NOTE:

  • This article refers to Standing Tool Settings.

  • To enable the ability for an admin to override who advances if an additional tie-breaker is unavailable, contact support.

  • Seeded Single Elimination Bracket: Teams are seeded and play games within a single-elimination bracket.

  • Custom Points: Points for the winning, losing, and tying teams are assigned for each game independently. Teams are ordered by points, wins, losses (ascending), and then games played (ascending).

  • When changing a Standing Type mid-season, you will need to change the status of your "Finalized" games to "Scheduled," then re-score them.

The Standings setting will show your Team's standings within your League. View standings by:

  1. Sign in and go to your League Page.

  2. Turn on Edit Mode.

  3. On the right side of the page, click the Admin dropdown arrow.

  4. Choose Tool Settings.

  5. Scroll down until you see the Standings header.

    • Click HERE to view a list of all the different Standings options.

Helpful Tip! Remember to click Save Changes in the top-left corner if any updates are made.
