You will need "Full Access" or "Limited Access - Website" permissions to edit your site.

NOTE: The steps below are for Sport Management organizations. If using Season Management, create a General Page and Share the Team Site.

You must create a League Page, Club Page, or Division Page before creating a new season.

Season and sub-seasons allow you to organize and manage your Teams year-over-year by separating data.

After the first season or sub-season passes, you must create each subsequent new season or sub-season from the League or Club Page. It is a nearly identical process for Leagues and Clubs.

What Is the Difference Between a Season and a Subseason?

  • Season: Usually, the year of the season you are starting. For example, 20XX -20XX Season.

  • Subseason: This allows you to have multiple compartments within a season, such as a preseason, regular season, and postseason. Subseasons also share the same roster.

Creating a New Season

  1. Sign in to your website and turn on Edit Mode.

  2. Go to your League Page or Club Page.

  3. Scroll down and select the Admin button.

  4. Choose Season.

  5. Click Create New Season.

  6. Add a Season Name (usually the year of the season).

  7. Input the Subseason Name.

  8. Update the Data Source.

    • Data Source determines whether your new season will have the same teams, divisions, staff page permissions, tool settings, rosters, and page content as the previous season. Don’t worry about this if this is your first season.

      • Start From Scratch: You will need to add divisions and teams to the new season manually

      • Copy Subseason (Recommended): This option allows you to copy divisions and teams from the past season with the option to copy staff page permissions, tool settings, rosters, and page content.

  9. Click Create Season.

  10. ln the middle of the page, activate the season as the current sub-season by checking the Current Subseason circle.

    • Only current subseasons' teams are displayed on the mobile app.

Additional Settings

  • Show Shared Schedule: Show games and events published to your team from other sites this season.

  • Generate Game IDs: Game IDs help you label games to reference them later. You can autogenerate game IDs or manually create them.

  • Enable Game Type: This allows you to add a game type to games within the season (e.g., exhibition match).

  • Enable Group Name: This allows you to add a group name to games within the season (e.g., group A).
