Multi-factor authentication (MFA) protects your account with an extra layer of login security, providing enhanced security for your organization and user data. Once MFA is enabled, you will log in to your account using your email, password, and verification method.
How to Enable MFA
You will see a message on the HQ when MFA is available for your account. Once that message is visible, you can follow the steps below to enable it.
NOTE: The message will reappear in 24 hours if you click Skip Now.
Click Set Up MFA.
Click Continue.
Enter your phone number and click Continue.
Navigate to your mobile phone's text messages to view the code.
Enter the code and click Continue.
Your account's recovery codes are visible on the screen. Save the recovery codes by clicking Download, Print, or Copy.
If copying, remember to paste it for your records.
How to Log In After Enabling MFA
Open the sign-in page or navigate to your organization's site and click Sign In in the upper right-hand corner.
Enter your email and click Continue.
Click the desired option to verify your identity.
If you chose Text a Code, enter the code sent to your phone number and click Continue.
If you chose Send Me a Magic Link, navigate to your email account, open the Sign In to Your SportsEngine Account email, and click Sign In.
If you chose Use Recovery Codes, enter one of your account's recovery codes and click Continue.
