How Do I Set Up Google Analytics to Monitor Traffic?

You must have "Full Access" or "Limited Access - Website" permissions in order to do this.

  • If you do not currently have a Google Analytics account, click here to learn how to create an account and set it up.

  • If you currently have a Universal Analytics (UA) account and need to make the switch to Google Analytics 4, click here.

Find Your Google Tag ID

Once your Analytics account is set up, find your Google tag ID by following the instructions below:

  1. Sign into your Google Analytics Account.

  2. Click Admin.

  3. At the top of the Property column, select your property.

  4. In the Property column, click Data Streams.

  5. Click the desired "Data Stream."

  6. At the bottom of the Web Stream Details page, click the Google Tags section.

  7. Click Configure Tag Settings.

  8. On the Google Tag page, in the Your Google Tag section, copy the ID that starts with "G-."

Add the Google Tag ID to Website Settings

  1. Sign in and click on the HQ Home icon located at the top of your screen.

  2. Once in "SportsEngine HQ," click on Website, then choose Website Settings tab.

  3. From the horizontal menu, click SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

  4. Paste the "G-" Tag into the Analytics Code text box.

  5. Ensure Enable Google Analytics is checked.

  6. Click Save Settings.
