How to Update My Website Domain NameServer (DNS) or CNAME Records
Updated over 5 months ago

NOTE: Your site may take up to 48 hours to appear on your domain after changing name servers. This delay, during which your site propagates, is standard for all sites.

You must update your DNS records to move your SportsEngine website from the SportsEngine domain (YourOrganization.sportngin.com) to your organization's custom domain (YourOrganization.com).

NOTE: After changing your DNS or CNAME Records, you must contact support with your new domain so that we can update it within our system.

This process is known as Going Live.

NOTE: DNSSEC is a security feature that prevents unauthorized changes to DNS entries. To allow your site to go live successfully, ensure that DNSSEC is disabled.

Helpful Tip! Before updating DNS records, you must tell your contact if you have email addresses associated with your custom domain (i.e., [email protected]). Failing to do so will result in an interruption of email service.
