Below are the steps to manually add teams and players. You can walk through all of the steps, or click the links below to skip to a specific section:

Getting Started

  1. Sign in to your account and go to "SportsEngine HQ."

  2. On the left-hand navigation, click "Affiliation Name" > Governing Seasons.

  3. Click Get Started.

    • If your governing season has been created, under the Governing Season click Teams.

  4. To utilize Manual Import, click No to "Do you use SportsEngine to manage your club and teams?"

  5. Choose Manually Add Teams

  6. NOTE: Choosing this option means you will not be able to add teams via SE Team Management for the rest of the season.

  7. Click Confirm.

Add Teams

  1. Under the Teams sub-tab, click Add Teams.

  2. Input a team name, select the division, and choose a gender.

  3. Click Create Team.

Add Players

  1. To the right of the "Team" you've just created, under the Actions column, click More > Add Player.

  2. Enter the full name of the player in the Search for People field. Either select the player from the directory or create a new player.

  3. Ensure that all of the player information is correct.

  4. Click Add Another Player to add more than one player. Click Continue when you're finished adding players to the roster.

Add Staff

  1. To the right of the "Team", under the Actions column, click More > Add Staff.

  2. Enter the full name of the Staff Member in the Search for People field. Either select the Staff from the directory or create a new Staff Member.

  3. Ensure that all of the Staff information is correct.

  4. Click Add Another Staff to add more than one Staff Member. Click Continue when you're finished adding staff to the roster.
