SportsEngine

Use this process if you utilized the Governing Season for a previous season AND do not use SportsEngine HQ to manage your teams and rosters. 

By copying teams, teams are automatically copied exactly from the previous governing season, including teams, players, and staff members.

Sign in to your account and go to "SportsEngine HQ."

On the left-hand navigation, click "Affiliation Name" &gt; Governing Seasons.

Answer No to "Do you use SportsEngine to manage your club and teams?"

- SportsEngine Team Management is the paid version of SportsEngine for users utilizing; Website, Registration, Mobile App, Rostering or Scoring on Team Pages, etc. 
- If you are an SE Premium customer using SportsEngine Team Management, select Yes to use SE Sync. 

Choose which season you would like to copy from, i.e. July 1, 2019 - July 31, 2020 Governing Season

Check the box next to all the teams you would like to transfer.

Click the Pencil Icon to update the Team's Name to reflect the current team/year.

1. Example: Update U14 Girls-Smith to U15 Girls-Smith.

Once team names are updated, click Next.

Click Let's Assign Teams to proceed.

Click, drag, and drop the teams from the left column to their correct division under the right column. 

Review Player and Staff data. If you need to remove someone, click Remove.

Click Next on the bottom of the next two pages.

Click Close to finish the process.

2. On the left-hand navigation, click "Affiliation Name" &gt; Governing Seasons.
3. Click Get Started.
4. Answer No to "Do you use SportsEngine to manage your club and teams?"
 
 - SportsEngine Team Management is the paid version of SportsEngine for users utilizing; Website, Registration, Mobile App, Rostering or Scoring on Team Pages, etc. 
 - If you are an SE Premium customer using SportsEngine Team Management, select Yes to use SE Sync. 
5. Select Copy Teams.

6. Choose which season you would like to copy from, i.e. July 1, 2019 - July 31, 2020 Governing Season
7. Check the box next to all the teams you would like to transfer.
8. Click the Pencil Icon to update the Team's Name to reflect the current team/year.
 1. Example: Update U14 Girls-Smith to U15 Girls-Smith. 

9. Once team names are updated, click Next.
10. Click Let's Assign Teams to proceed. 
11. Click, drag, and drop the teams from the left column to their correct division under the right column. 

12. Click Next.
13. Review Player and Staff data. If you need to remove someone, click Remove.
14. Click Next on the bottom of the next two pages. 
15. Click Close to finish the process.
