There are two ways to move players/staff. You can:
Move a person to a different team within the same organization.
Move a person from one org to another.
Transfer from One Team to Another Within the Same Org
If you rostered via Import/Manual:
From the left navigation menu, click the Governing Season.
Under the "Governing Season," click either Players/Staff.
Find the person, and to the right under Actions, click More > Transfer to Another Team.
From the Select Team drop-down, select the new team.
Click Transfer.
The system indicates that they have already purchased the membership.
The person keeps their existing membership number, but there will be a new "Submit Date."
If you rostered using SE Sync:
Use the Rostering Tool in HQ to transfer people from one team to another.
From the left navigation menu, click the Governing Season tab.
Under the "Governing Season," click Teams.
In the upper right-hand corner, click Update Teams and People.
The system will detect the team change, and updates them within the Governing Season.
Transfer a Person from One Org to Another
To move a player/staff member from one organization to another, you need to:
Cancel the existing membership.
Remove the player/staff member from their original team.
Finally, add the player/staff member to the new team. Their membership will sync automatically.
Cancel the Membership
From the left navigation menu, click the Governing Season.
Find the Governing Season, and click Players/Staff.
To the right of the member, click the three vertical dots > Cancel.
Make a note if you'd like, and click Cancel Membership.
Remove the Person from their Team
If You Rostered Via Import/Manual:
From the left navigation menu, click the Governing Season.
Find the Governing Season, and click Players/Staff.
Find the individual. To the right, under Actions click Remove.
Click Remove to confirm.
If you Rostered using SE Sync:
Use the Rostering Tool in HQ to remove the player/staff member from their team.
Navigate to SE HQ, and click the Governing Season tab.
Find the Governing Season, and click Teams.
In the upper right-hand corner, click Update Teams and People.
Approve the removed player change.
Add the Person to their New Team
When adding a person to their new team, it is important to input the profile information EXACTLY as it was entered initially, so that the Membership ID will transfer over.
There are three ways to add new players/staff to a team - you can manually add a member, import a roster, or use SE Sync.
Use the Rostering Tool in SE HQ to add the new player/staff member, then Sync the Teams/Rosters.
After being added to the team, the system will recognize the individual and sync their membership. The Membership ID stays the same, but the "Submit Date" will update.
