It can take a very long time for an organization's EIN/Tax ID number to reach the IRS database.

Most often, the reason for denial is that your organization's name/tax ID was not entered exactly as it appears on the SS-4 notice. Using other acronyms, abbreviations, or mismatched information will result in delayed approval.

In the meantime, please send a PDF copy of your organization's SS-4 (application for EIN) to your Account Manager at SportsEngine for manual review and confirmation.
