Users receive a notification when duplicate addresses are detected in the venue list, helping maintain a clean, accurate database. Duplicates can be merged on the Venues page in Season Management.
Log in to "SportsEngine HQ."
In the left navigation menu, click Competition > Season Management.
At the top of the screen, click Venues.
When duplicates are detected, a Potential duplicate venues detected warning appears. To manage duplicates, click Show Me.
Click Merge on your duplicate venue.
Next to the desired venue, click Keep as the primary venue.
Click Next.
Review the sub-venues. You can either keep all sub-venues or use the dropdown menus to consolidate events into fewer sub-venues when duplicates occur.
Once complete, click Merge.
When the merge is complete, a success message appears. Click Close or Merge another venue.
