Collecting the Required Data in Your SportsEngine RegistrationWhen setting up your registration, you will need to include the following information using the SAME FIELD NAMES and in the SAME ORDER as below:
- SeasonID (Hidden Admin Field - located within the Affinity Sports application.)
- SIDCode (Hidden Admin Field - a 7 digit number for your club assigned by Affinity, located at the top right of your club details screen within the Affinity Sports application.)
- Season (Hidden Admin Field - located within the Affinity Sports application with the SeasonID.)
- PlayLevelCode (Hidden Radio Selection. See table below for options.)
- Alternate Player ID
- Alternate Team ID
|Radio Option (only enter the number or letter)||Level Code (DO NOT ADD THIS )|
|Y||Youth Academy (i.e., Academy)|
About Season ID and Season Names
The SIDCode is unique and will always differ based on the club/team. The customer (club) should provide the Season ID, SIDCode and Season Name during the registration setup process so it can be pre-populated for every registrant upon launch.
Example SeasonID: 775
Example Season Name: Fall 2016
Using an AutoForm in Your Registration
For a registration that requires using an autoform (US Youth Soccer, CalSouth, etc.) Since the report labels are different, the mapping code (i.e., report name) would need to be updated with the auto-form to match the Affinity requirements in order for them to properly sync.
Running the Registration ReportOnce the registration is complete, you will need to run a report on the registration data to be used as the import file into the Affinity Sports application. The key thing to verify is that all the fields are named correctly and listed in the correct order (as above).
Note: We recommend that you use the Affinity Player Registration Template available in the Registration tool so the report will import automatically into Affinity.
