Setting Up New Users on Your Site

As soon as you add someone to your site from Member Directory (see below), TeamCenter, or team page, you can include them in all communications for the team, even before they create a SportsEngine account. For example, as soon as they appear in your Member Directory you can include them in email messages to your team-- you do not need to wait until after they have accepted the team invitation to include them in all communications. You can also set permissions for this person immediately after adding them to the site, so when they do accept the team invitation, their correct permissions are all ready. 

Step 1: Login to your website> Admin Control Panel> Select Members tab
Step 2: Select the Invite People to the <YOUR SITE NAME> Network link. 
Step 3: Enter the name and email address in the fields and then select Send Invitation
Step 4: An invitation email is sent to the user. Instruct them to select the Accept Invite button in the email. They will either need to create a new SportsEngine account or log in with their current SportsEngine account to complete this step.
Step 5: Once their account is activated, a new invitation will be available on their dashboard and they must then select the Claim As Owner button to confirm their addition to the site.
