Adding Additional Contacts to Receive Team Messages

As a parent, you often need to be able to widen your circle of who needs to keep up to date with your player's schedule. You may need to add non-members such as grandparents, babysitters, neighbors, etc. to your contact list so they too can keep up to date with the team schedule. You can add their email address to your child's sub-profile so they will receive the same email messages that you do.

Note: Coaches and Team Managers can add additional email addresses to a non-member's profile in order to be able to include all players in team communications. However, once that profile owner (e.g. the parent) accepts the invitation and becomes a team member, they will take control what contact information appears. 

For Parents/Profile Owners: Adding a Contact to a Child's Sub-Profile
To add additional contacts to your child's sub-profile, complete these steps:
  1. Open the team's web page. 
  2. Click your Profile drop-down list and then click Household
  3. Select the child's profile. 
  4. In the Contact Information section, click Add Email Address
  5. Enter the email address and click Add.
For Coaches/Team Managers: Adding a Contact to a Player's Profile in TeamCenter
To add additional contacts to a player's profile, complete these steps: 

Note: Coaches and team managers can add additional email addresses to a player's Contact Information in TeamCenter in order to include all players in team communications. However, once that profile owner (e.g. the parent) accepts the invitation and becomes a team member, they will take control what contact information appears and the coaches team managers will no longer have access to add contacts. 
  1. In TeamCenter, click the Roster tab and select the player's profile.
  2. Click the pencil icon next to Other Contacts at the bottom of the player information page. 
  3. Enter a name in the label field (optional) and then enter the email address in the email field (required). 
  4. Click Save
In order for this functionality to appear, the player must be added to the roster within TeamCenter, not on the Team Page or from a Registration.
