Pages allow you to keep your website content organized and easy to navigate, so visitors can find the information they are looking for quickly. Most websites start with a home page, an about page, team pages and a calendar page. The menu at the top of your website displays your pages and allows visitors to navigate between them.

Types of Pages

There are multiple page types that have different uses:

General Page: Regular page on which you can add layout containers and page elements
LinkHyperlink to a page on another website
League PagePage with league management functionality
Division Page: Page with league management functionality 
Team Page:
Page with team management functionality
Calendar Page: Page displaying games and events on a calendar.
MicroSite Page: Page that displays information from a competition such as league standings

Adding a Page

The first step to adding new content to your website is adding a new page.

Step 1: Log in to your site and turn on Edit Mode
Step 2: Click Pages
Step 3: 
Select Sub Pages or Main Menu depending on where you would like to add the page
Step 4: Click Add New Page
Step 5: Select the Page Type
Step 6: Add a Button Title and a Page Title
Step 7: Adjust the other settings
Step 8: Click Create and Go To Page

 

​Reordering a Menu

You can change the order of pages in a menu by clicking and dragging that page in the Pages menu to a new spot.

Moving a Page

You can also move pages between menus. For example, if you have a page called About that is a subpage of another page, you could move it one level up hierarchically to the main menu or move it under a different page.

Step 1: Log in to your site and turn on Edit Mode
Step 2: Go to the page that you want to move
Step 3: Click Options from the menu on the page
Step 4: Click Move Page
Step 5: Select a new location for the page (parent page) or click the site name to move it to the main menu
Step 6: Click Move Page

Making a Page Public

When you first create a page it is disabled; the page will not be visible by site visitors. This allows you to hide the page while the page content is under construction. Disabled pages are shown in gray on the menu. To make the page visible to site visitors you will need to change its status from Disabled to Public.

Step 1: Log in to your site and turn on Edit Mode
Step 2: Go to the page that you want to make public
Step 3: Click Permissions from the menu on the page
Step 4: Click Public
Step 6: Click Change Page Status to Public
 

Editing Page Title and Details

You can edit the page title, button title, and additional page settings from the Options tab of that page.

Step 1: Log in to your site and turn on Edit Mode
Step 2: Go to the page that you want to edit
Step 3: Click Options from the menu on the page
Step 4: Click Edit Page Details
Step 6: Make your changes and click Save Changes


 

Deleting a Page

If there is a page on your site that you want to remove, you can delete it.

Step 1: Log in to your site and turn on Edit Mode
Step 2: Go to the page that you want to delete
Step 3: Click Options from the menu on the page
Step 4: Click Delete Page
Step 5: 
Type 'DELETE' into the box
Step 6: Click Delete

Pages for Non-Responsive Themes

Note: A two-column layout will need to be selected in order to see the ability to edit the top-navigation. After the edits are made an organization can switch back to a one-column layout.

Change Order of Pages on Top Navigation

Add Pages in the Top Navigation:

  1. Login to your website and switch to Edit Mode. 
  2. On the left navigation, select Edit Top Nav.
  3. Select Add New Page to add a new page to the top navigation.
  4. Select the type of page you want to add. 

Delete Page from Top Navigation

  1. Login to your website and switch to Edit Mode. 
  2. Navigate to the Page that needs to be deleted and select Options
  3. Select Delete Page
  4. Type "Delete" to confirm that you want to permanently delete the page and any other pages below it.
  5. Select Delete.

Moving pages into the Top Navigation:

  1. Login to your website and switch to Edit Mode.
  2. Navigate to the page that you want to move into the Top Navigation Bar.
  3. Select the Options tab of the page. 
  4. Select Move Page
  5. Select the Root page at the top of the page tree.
  6. Select the Move Page button at the bottom of the window. 


Editing the order of the Top Navigation Bar buttons:

  1. Login to your website and switch to Edit Mode.
  2. Select Edit Top Nav.
  3. Drag the pages up and down the order to sort them.
