Suspending a Player for Game Misconduct or Match Penalties in Hockey

You can make a player or coach inactive for a predetermined number of games (Game Misconduct) or for a period of time determined by an administrator (Match Penalty Suspension). This is only a setting in Hockey Stats.

Note: This feature is available for new seasons only. If you are currently in an active season, this feature will not be available until the next season.

Showing a player or coach suspension on the roster or game sheet will allow coaches and officials to know which player is currently suspended. Once the predetermined amount of games are passed, the player/coach is reinstated and is listed as active on the roster and on the game sheets.

Note: The number of games for which a player will be suspended is dictated by a governing body, such as USA Hockey or a specific association or district. The number of games is set at the League level in the website.
